Pure fish oil

Arctic Blue uses no plastic bottles for the liquid fish oil, but only glass bottles. We are therefore certain that no hormone-disrupting substances can migrate from the plastic into the fish oil.

Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil is produced in accordance with GMP. Good Manufacturing Practice is the strictest quality assurance system for dietary supplements available. It is mandatory to document how and under what conditions a product is manufactured. Raw materials are checked and a manufacturing protocol is maintained. This ensures that everything can always be traced back retrospectively in the event of a theoretical deviation.

Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil shows no detectable cadmium during tests up to 50 ppb (parts per billion) and no detectable mercury during tests up to 10 ppb. This is no less than 10 times below the Norwegian medical standard and the European Pharmacopoeia (handbook), which we as a manufacturer are legally required to comply with.

Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil is also regularly tested to 0.5 ppt without the detection of dioxins or furans. The Norwegian medical standard and European Pharmacopoeia limits for this are 2 ppt (parts per trillion). Naturally, these analyses are performed in reputable international laboratories that use the same toxicity equivalence test methodology as established by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil shows no detectable PCBs during tests up to 0.5 ppt. The Norwegian medical standard limit for PCBs is 3 ppt.

These figures are easier to understand if you know that a large fish like tuna is legally allowed to contain up to 1 mg of mercury per kilo of fish.

1 mg/kg = 1000 ppb. Pure Arctic MSC Fish Oil contains no detectable mercury during tests up to 10 ppb and is therefore at least 100 times purer than tuna with regard to this heavy metal.
